OMNIVALEA Door Handle Black Right Renault Clio III Kangoo Dacia 8200028486

WHY THE ORIGINAL HANDLE FAILS AND HOW THIS PART SOLVES IT

This oval interior handle is one of the most widely used cabin parts in the Renault group, fitted to millions of cars and vans, and its weak point is equally well known: every door pull loads a small plastic pivot behind the lever, which fatigues over the years until cracks spread, the lever develops play and finally snaps off in the hand. The door then only opens from outside — an everyday nuisance in a family car and a genuine productivity problem on a delivery van. Renault lists the handle under reference 8200028486, and this complete ABS assembly reproduces the lever and bezel together, restoring solid operation in minutes on any of the listed models.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY

This handle serves the right side of the vehicle and fits both the front right and rear right doors, so one listing covers either position; the left side uses the mirrored reference 8200028487, so confirm the side as seen sitting in the driver's seat. Because this handle spans many models and years, compare the lever shape, bezel outline and latch connection with your original or the product photos — the Megane II of the same era uses a different handle design and is not covered. This is the all-black variant; a chrome-lever version of the same family also exists, so match the finish to your cabin. If the lever works but the door will not open, inspect the latch rod or cable first.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Work with the window up and the door open, remove or ease back the trim panel far enough to reach behind the handle, and note whether your model uses a rod or cable connection before unhooking it. Transfer the connection to the new assembly in the same orientation, seat the handle fully in the panel opening until its tabs or screws engage, and test the release action several times with the door open — a half-seated connection can leave the door shut with no inside release. Refit the trim and verify the exterior handle, interior handle and central locking all work together through a full cycle.
