WHY THIS PART FAILS AND HOW THIS KIT SOLVES IT

On the Tourneo Custom and Transit Custom the headlight is located by slim plastic lugs molded into the housing, and on a hard-working van these lugs snap in low-speed parking impacts, stone strikes and careless bumper removals. Because the housing cannot be repaired invisibly, the official solution is a complete new headlight at many times the cost. This kit solves the problem economically: two precision-molded brackets fix onto the original housing and recreate the broken mounting points with original geometry.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING

This kit repairs the LEFT headlight; the right side uses OEM number JK2113W029BJ. It corresponds to the FACELIFT halogen headlights fitted from 2018 onwards; pre-facelift vehicles of 2012–2018 use the earlier BK21-series headlight with a different shape, so confirm your production year and compare the bracket shapes with the broken sections of your housing. A cracked lens or a broken internal adjuster is not repaired by this kit, and the full-size Transit uses a completely different headlight despite the similar name.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Remove the headlight following the procedure for your model, then clean each broken lug area and remove loose fragments so the brackets seat flat on the housing. Fix each bracket securely without overtightening, as the housing plastic can strip, then refit the headlight and check the panel gaps to the bonnet and bumper before final tightening. Verify the beam height with a headlight aligner after any headlamp removal before returning the vehicle to service.
