WHY THE MOUNTS FAIL

On the Clio V the headlight is held in the front end by thin plastic lugs moulded into the housing. A light parking knock, a pothole or long-term vibration is often enough to crack or snap them, leaving the headlight loose, sitting out of line with the bumper or pointing the beam in the wrong direction. Because the lugs are part of the housing, the factory fix is a complete new headlight. This kit replaces only the broken mounting points.

This kit matches OE 260E70544R for the front left headlight of the Renault Clio V Hatchback; the right side uses a separate mirror-image kit. Clio V headlights changed with the 2023 facelift, so compare the bracket shapes with the broken lugs on your headlight and check your headlight part number before ordering. The kit contains 4 brackets without screws. The colour may vary by production batch and does not affect fitment or performance.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Remove the front bumper and unbolt the left headlight. Cut the broken lugs back cleanly to the repair line on the housing, offer up each new bracket in its matching position and secure it with the original screws. Refit the headlight, check the panel gaps to the bonnet, wing and bumper, then have the headlight beam aim checked and adjusted on a beam setter before driving at night.
