WHY THIS PART FAILS AND HOW THIS KIT SOLVES IT

On the Fluence the headlight is located by slim plastic lugs molded into the housing, and the lower lugs sit closest to the bumper, taking the first load in every parking knock and front impact. These lugs snap in low-speed impacts, stone strikes or simply when the lamp is removed carelessly during bulb changes. Because the housing cannot be repaired invisibly, the official solution is a complete new headlight at many times the cost. This kit solves the problem economically: two precision-molded brackets fix onto the original housing and recreate the broken lower mounting points with original geometry.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING

This kit repairs the LOWER mounting points of the RIGHT headlight; a separate kit is available under our listings for the UPPER mounting points of the same lamp, and the left headlight uses OEM references 260600738R and 260606957R. Compare the shape of your broken lug with the product photos to confirm which mounting area needs repair. Inspect your lamp first and confirm the damage is limited to the mounting lug area; a cracked lens or a broken internal adjuster is not repaired by this kit.

Remove the headlight following the procedure for your model, then clean each broken lug area and remove loose fragments so the brackets seat flat on the housing. Fix each bracket securely without overtightening, as the housing plastic can strip, then refit the headlight and check the panel gaps to the bonnet and bumper before final tightening. Verify the beam height with a headlight aligner after any headlamp removal before returning the vehicle to service.
