WHY THESE TABS FAIL AND HOW THIS KIT SOLVES IT

The T-Roc's headlights hang on thin moulded plastic tabs, with the beam height carried through a small plastic adjuster nut, and a light parking knock, a stone impact transmitted through the bumper, or plain heat ageing is enough to snap a tab or strip the nut. The expensive headlight unit itself usually survives, but it can no longer be tightened or aimed: it wobbles over bumps, sits with an uneven gap to the bumper and wing, and its beam wanders out of adjustment. This kit replaces the failed points with screw-on POM brackets and a fresh adjuster nut, restoring a rigid, adjustable mounting for a small fraction of the price of a new headlight, which matters even more on LED versions.

Inspect your housing before buying: the brackets need intact plastic around the broken tab area to screw into, so a housing shattered across its mounting face may still require replacement.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Remove the front bumper as required on the T-Roc and withdraw the headlight, then cut or grind away the remnants of the broken tabs so each bracket sits flat on the housing surface. Secure the brackets with the supplied screws without overtightening, since excessive torque will crack the housing, and press the new adjuster nut fully into its socket before reconnecting the adjuster spindle. Refit the headlight, torque the body fixings evenly, and check panel gaps to the wing and bumper before final assembly. Finish with a beam alignment check on a proper aimer, because LED versions project a sharp cutoff line that makes even small mounting errors visible at night.
