WHY HEADLIGHT MOUNTING BRACKETS FAIL AND HOW THIS KIT SOLVES IT

The factory mounting brackets on the Corolla E120 headlight housing are thin plastic points exposed to constant engine-bay heat cycles and road vibration, and on cars of this age the plastic has often become brittle. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Remove the headlight from the vehicle for clean access to the mounting points. Remove all fragments of the broken original brackets and degrease the contact surfaces before fitting the new parts. Fix each repair bracket using the supplied screws, seating it fully against the housing, and verify the headlight locks into its body-side fixings without play before final assembly. After installation, check and adjust the headlight beam alignment, as a previously loose unit will almost certainly have drifted out of its correct aiming position.
