WHY THIS PART FAILS AND HOW THIS KIT SOLVES IT

On the Ducato, Boxer and Relay platform the mirror indicators sit at the outermost point of a wide commercial vehicle, so they take the first hit in narrow streets, loading bays and against hedges and gateposts. The lens cracks or the mounting tabs snap, water enters the mirror head, the bulb corrodes and the signal fails, which is both an inspection failure and a safety issue on a long van. This replacement lamp renews the complete indicator unit and restores a sealed, fully functional turn signal in the original amber factory appearance.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING

This lamp fits the RIGHT mirror; the left side uses OEM number 71748252. It is supplied with the amber indicator section matching the original factory style; a crystal clear (white) version is available under a separate listing if you prefer a modern look. Match the OEM reference 71748253 or 6325H1 against your original lamp and note that bulbs and holders are not included; your originals transfer over. The pre-2006 Ducato II uses a different mirror design.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Access the rear of the indicator by removing the mirror glass or the mirror shell according to your mirror type, then twist the bulb holder out of the old lamp and unclip the broken unit from the housing. Clip the new lamp in until every tab engages, refit the bulb holder and test the signal before reassembling the mirror. Check that the lens sits flush with the mirror shell; a proud edge lets in water and wind noise at motorway speed.
