WHY THIS PART FAILS

The manual seat in these models uses a small rotary knob to set the backrest angle. The knob takes constant hand load, so over the years its internal splines crack or strip and it begins to spin freely or no longer hold the backrest firmly. This replacement renews that knob and restores secure, repeatable recline adjustment.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Confirm your seat has the manual rotary recline knob and not a power-seat switch, as power seats do not use this part. Match the colour to your interior, since black, grey and beige are separate items, and compare the knob shape and the internal spline against your old part. The knob is the same for the left or right seat.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Pull the old knob straight off the recline spindle; it is a push-fit and needs no tools. Line up the internal spline and press the new knob on fully until it seats. Turn it through its full range to confirm the backrest locks and releases correctly before use.
