The W126 and W463 sunroofs are now decades old, and the lifting angle brackets and fittings that raise and guide the panel are made of die-cast metal and plastic that crack, wear, and seize over time. The result is a roof that binds, tilts unevenly, slides roughly, or jams. The perimeter seal also hardens and shrinks, letting in wind noise and water. This kit supplies fresh lifting components and a new EPDM seal so the whole mechanism can be rebuilt rather than replaced.

Confirm your vehicle is the W126 / C126 S-Class or the W463 G-Class and that your fault is in the lifting angle mechanism and seal rather than the motor, cables, or cassette tray, which are separate parts. Compare your old brackets to OE A1267801512 and A1267801612 and the seal to A1267800098. The W463 G-Class used this style of mechanism over a long production run, so match your parts to the kit before ordering.
