WHY THE PANEL FAILS AND HOW THIS UNIT FIXES IT

On large vans the driver's panel is used at almost every stop for the windows, mirror adjustment and mirror folding, and the door sees heavy vibration and temperature swings. Over time the switch contacts wear and oxidise, the rocker pivots loosen and the mirror control can become loose or unresponsive, leaving windows or mirrors that work intermittently, move in only one direction or stop altogether. This replacement renews both window switches, the mirror controls and the panel in one complete unit, restoring reliable control from the driver's seat.

This panel fits the front left door of the Fiat Ducato III (250, 290), Peugeot Boxer (250) and Citroen Jumper/Relay (250) with electric front windows and electric mirrors, which is the driver's side on left-hand drive vehicles. Compare it with your old part: it must carry OE 735487423 or one of its listed alternatives, have the same button layout including the mirror fold button, and use a black 8-pin and a grey 12-pin connector. Versions without the fold button exist for the same vans, so check your old panel before ordering. On right-hand drive vehicles, check that the panel shape matches your door. The panel and buttons are black; hidden connector and housing colours may vary by production batch and do not affect fitment or performance.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Switch the ignition off or disconnect the battery negative terminal before starting. Ease the panel out of the door trim with a plastic trim tool, working from the edge to avoid marking the trim, and never pull it out by its wiring. Release the locking tabs, unplug both connectors, plug the new unit in until each connector clicks, then test both windows, mirror adjustment in every direction and mirror folding before pressing the panel home. If a function still fails, check the fuse, the wiring loom at the door hinge and the affected motor, as the fault may lie outside the switch.
