WHY THE CLIP FAILS

On the Partner I and Berlingo I the front door glass sits in a plastic carrier clip that rides on the regulator cable. Heavy daily door use, temperature swings and the weight of the glass eventually crack the clip or break its locking tabs, so the window drops into the door, runs crooked or stops while the motor or handle still turns. This clip replaces only the failed slider, restoring correct glass guidance without the cost of a complete regulator.

CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY

This clip is for the front right door only and matches OE 9222A4 and 9222G1; the front left door uses a mirror-image clip (OE 9221G3). The Partner I and Berlingo I have no rear window regulators, and the later B9-body Partner Tepee and Berlingo II use a different design. Compare the new clip against your old one for shape, handing and cable seat before fitting, and check that the regulator cable is not frayed. The colour may vary by production batch and does not affect fitment or performance.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Disconnect the battery or window switch connector before removing the door card, and peel the moisture barrier back carefully so it can be resealed. Tape the glass in the raised position while the old clip is removed, fit the new clip on the cable in the original orientation, and seat the glass fully before tightening. Run the window through its full travel several times to confirm it moves level and closes fully against the upper seal before refitting the trim.
