WHY THE ORIGINAL CLIPS FAIL

On the Audi A2 the window glass is held to each regulator by a small plastic carrier clip that takes the full load every time the window moves. With age the clips go brittle and crack, and the glass then drops into the door, tilts, or jams part-way. Renewing these low-cost clips on both sides restores the connection instead of replacing the whole regulators.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE ORDERING

This set contains the repair clips only — the sliding glass carriers — not complete window regulators. It covers both front doors, corresponding to regulator OE 8Z0837461 (left) and 8Z0837462 (right), and fits the Audi A2 (8Z0). Compare the shape of the clips in the photos to your broken parts before ordering.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES

Remove the door trim panel and the weather membrane to reach the regulator and glass on each side. Lower the glass to the access point, fit the new clip to the regulator rail, and reconnect the glass so it is held securely. Cycle each window slowly to confirm smooth, even travel before refitting the trim.
